TW classic has been around for years and there are numerous plugins (think
apps) for it, whereas TW5 is new and is limited in that way. But TW5 is
getting better almost by the day.

Both TW classic and TW5 can handle large sums of info. There are some
tweaks in classic to overcome that - mainly ditching some lists of tiddlers
that refresh every time a tiddler is added or edited, which can freeze
things up once the lists get long. I haven't played around with 5 long
enough to know how well it will respond. As Jeremy mentioned, I managed to
stuff a 5 file with images so that it was about 80MB. Still runs fine,
opens a little slow, and the image gallery I created opens slowly, but it
works. Several hundreds of pages of text won't stuff it that heavy though.

Browse http://giffmex.tiddlyspot.com/ and open the link for TW classics you
like, and steal their StyleSheet and ColorPalette (some may be dead). Some
themes may have other tiddlers you need to swipe too.
