Food for thought- I always wondered about TiddlyWiki running outside of the browser.
A great OSCON talk by Stoyan Stefanov shows that Javascript is Everywhere<http://www.slideshare.net/stoyan/javascript-is-everywhere> One of the great things about TiddlyWiki is that it runs offline self-contained without an internet connection. This is a huge available installed base - But there are browser <http://tiddlywiki.com/#Browsers> dependencies where one needs Java or in the case of mobile <http://tiddlywiki.com/#Browsers>, something native. Looks like there's another hybrid platform for TiddlyWiki developers to target someday... ChromeOS<http://www.theverge.com/2013/9/5/4696618/google-chrome-apps-chrome-os-windows-os-x-blink> Imagine TiddlyWiki everywhere :-) Best, tony ps biased view from a new ChromeBook user :-) pss true one could install crouton <https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton>and run Firefox under ubuntu -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
