I'm trying to get left and right side panes(among other things) that I can toggle. After spending a lot of time and failing to get it working in my own TiddlyWiki I found the "basic"(quickstart_basics.html when downloaded) TiddlyWiki from http://www.tiddlytools.com/ and really like that. That's so much better than anything I could ever come up I now want to use that as my starting point. I thought I might be able to import my tiddlers into the quickstart_basics.html and then hopefully edit it without messing up the good parts of it too bad.
The problem is when I try to import I get various errors. In FF 23.0.1 it hangs. In Chrome 29.0.x it displays "Error getting list of tiddlers, click Cancel to try again". All I can do is click cancel. In IE 10 I get a message that says "Access is denied". I thought maybe I could upgrade quickstart_basics.html then try the import. In FF it hangs at "loading core code". In Chrome I get a JavaScript Alert "There was a problem saving the backup file". In IE I get a message "There was a problem saving the backup file". I'm at a loss now knowing what I should do. quickstart_basics.html is at version 2.5.0. My current TiddlyWiki is at 2.8.1, but I also have an older copy that's at version 2.6.6. All on Win 7 x64. Are the version differences part of the problem? Other advice or comments? Thanks, Gary -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
