I would love to see this up to date some time. Haven't taken the time to 
update it myself yet. Anyhow, for now I think this is the most pragmatic 
option to establish such a reference. Of course, the best scenario sure is 
commented code from which all this could be extracted... which wouldn't 
ship with the core, but be stripped during "cooking".

Well, unless I or anyone takes the time to help put what's under the hood 
in a well stuctured manner out there, the best option is to actualy look at 
the core code, e.g. searching for

   - "ype.getFoo" ...might yielf prototpe function for this or that object
   - "os.foo" ...might yield a macro foo and it's handler
   - "ion foo" ...might yield the definition of some global function 
   starting with "foo"
