I would love to see this up to date some time. Haven't taken the time to update it myself yet. Anyhow, for now I think this is the most pragmatic option to establish such a reference. Of course, the best scenario sure is commented code from which all this could be extracted... which wouldn't ship with the core, but be stripped during "cooking".
