This is a known issue. It depends on how the buttons are created interally. It seems FF and Chrome do handle the ":hover" CSS in a different way. I did have a closer look once but couldn't find it in a reasonable amount of time. So I thought "TW5 is alpha" ;) ATM Jeremy does some refactoring, how DOM elements are created.
