Well frankly if chrome won't support file cookies even with the --enable-file-cookies option I had to manually set up setup, I won't support Chrome. Period. I am tired of the constant fight, or "oh that is not being used", or "it MIGHT be a security risk", or "<insert excuse here>".
If _I_ have put in that kind of option _I_ have made the choice to use it how _I_ want. I have already crossed chrome off my browsers for tablet and mobile use, since they will not support a alternate color scheme for readability, so another platform does not bother me a bit. That also includes all the people I recommend software fo, and the company I work for, etc, etc. On Saturday, September 6, 2008 7:07:13 AM UTC-6, FND wrote: > > All, > > As you might know, the Google Chrome browser does not store cookies for > local files - which means TiddlyWiki user options cannot be saved.* > > The developers have decided not to fix this issue, for now: > > > marking as WontFix.
