I disagree. Remember, styles set by plugins with setStylesheet() will NOT override any styles in the user's StyleSheet — so you can circumvent/supersede/replace any of those classes you want by simply adding your own rules in the StyleSheet and knowing that conflicting rules set by setStylesheet() will be ignored.
Yes, there are ways to supersede user styles with refreshStyles — but if you feel a plugin author is being too pushy in doing so, don't use his plugins (or hack them to suit your personal preference — which is fun and rewarding in its own right). Think of it this way: The core is the core of TiddlyWiki. It's wrapped in user customizations, like StyleSheet.
