Hello Ton, Thank you for your suggestion. It seemed a bit inelegant, and so I continued my search and found a plugin that probably does the same thing you suggested but allows the tiddler_A to be included as a hidden object in tiddler_B.
To anyone not familiar with it, I used PartTiddlerPlugin from here http://tiddlywiki.abego-software.de/#PartTiddlerPlugin. If anyone knows a more elegant way to do this I'd still be interested.
