The download saver is the built-in saver of last resort. It is cross platform, and works on almost any browser, including Chrome, but isn't particularly convenient to use.
When you're viewing a TW5 in Chrome you can save by clicking the download button in the right sidebar (it's the right hand button of the three, the one that looks like an arrow going into a box). The default action is that Chrome pops up a tiny warning in the bottom left, asking you if you want to keep or discard a downloaded file. You have to click "keep", and then Chrome should save the new wiki into your downloads folder. Let me know how you get on, Best wishes Jeremy On Thu, Nov 21, 2013 at 6:27 AM, Josh <[email protected]> wrote: > Jeremy, > > Can you tell me more about using the "Download Saver" option in Chrome > please? > > I've been using FF and TiddlyFox, and when I tried to find a download > saver extension yesterday I couldn't. > > I then tried saving using File Save As in Chrome but that just corrupted > the file. > > Thanks, > > Josh > -- Jeremy Ruston mailto:[email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
