So you would need to redefine the TW core heading rendering which imo has a 
lot of nasty side effects. ... I think I have an idea that plays nice with 
standard components ...

ajaxLoadExternalFiles can tag imported files. So we could probably use the 
"tagged template tweak" plugin, to activate the right highlighting. 
I'll need to do a short test.
