Hi Sean
Setting a field to the string "{{TagColors##firstcolor}}" will not cause
the field to transclude it's value; if you use the <$view> widget to
display that field you'll get back the original string, including the curly
braces.
However, if you transclude the field then its content is parsed and
wikified. So, transcluding {{tag!!color}} will pull back #3366ff.
Does that make sense?
