Hi Mike. I have been able to save TWC on all versions of IE, but not always with default settings. IIRC the settings that interfered were to do with ActiveX controls. I seem to remember 'Internet options > Advanced > Security > Allow active content to run in files on my computer' had an effect (I could be wrong), and it may be that I couldn't get it to work with 'Internet options > Security' set above 'Medium-High'. (Sorry to be so vague; I can't check this out for you at the moment. My current set-up works with default settings for Medium-High security and the active content enabled as above.)
My suggestion would be to run IE in a virtual machine if you have no control over security settings and see which ones need changing to work. Perhaps a needed change could be made to Intranet settings? I'm no expert at any of this but I do know that messing around with settings enabled saving in modern IEs when the default settings wouldn't work, and there's a fair amount of info out there via Google regarding corporate set-ups and zones. Hope that helps. Paul. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
