Can I request that SystemInfoPlugin be brought into TW5 as part of the core
package? I feel like it even should have been part of the core TiddlyWiki
package, but that's in the past now. It's so unbelievably useful.
Now that I've found it, a Whole lot of things are coming together and
making sense for me about the way TW works, just by looking at the
different dropdowns. I've been trying to understand the nature of some
heavily modified tiddlywikis, tbGTD and dGSD, and, being a coding novice,
but someone who can nevertheless still partly understand many words and
ideas in the language of coding, this plugin I discovered today was a
godsend.
I can see a list of all the commands and macros and system-y sort of things
that the TiddlyWiki is looking for and using. I can read Ancient Greek, and
I got precisely the same elation upon finding SystemInfoPlugin as when I
found a comprehensive vocabulary list for the whole course in the back of
the textbook.
The list of available macros that this TiddlyWiki is able to use was
particularly helpful!
I do have a request about it though: Would it be possible to show which
plugin has created which macro (or command, or what have you)? Like, I
choose a macro, say, preview, and in addition to showing me what it
currently shows, also tell me which Plugin created it?
Although, despite all that I've learned from this now, and reading every
page of documentation I can find on Tiddlywiki.org, I still don't know
what's happening when {{button{[[some|thing]]}}} outputs a button. That's
definitely something special that Tiddlywiki is doing, and I have no idea
what it is. The documentation never mentions curly brackets, nor the
command, "button". Are there other things like that? Where is there
documentation on it so i can learn more? And now that I've drifted far
enough off topic, I'll break it off.
Cheers,
Leo
