TiddlyWiki5 is a "reboot" from the ground up, and is targeted towards modern "HTML5" standards. It also represents a major leap in power from TWClassic, so a big numeric jump seems appropriate. In addition, TWClassic will continue to be updated periodically and thus current numbering will be incremented accordingly. Depending upon the number of updates and their complexity, there may be eventually be a TWClassic v3.0, which would then become a "legacy platform" for maintaining support for existing TWClassic documents. There won't be a TiddlyWiki v4.x series. -e -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
