Hi all, I am using Windows 7 64-bit and mainly Firefox, Chrome when needed (e.g. first upload to TiddlySpot).
Today I started a new TiddlyWiki and wanted to add a favicon. In the past I added an icon by dragging/dropping an icon to my TW and renamed it to $:/favicon.ico. NB To be honest I can't remember if it worked in the past with "old" versions of Firefox or only in Chrome. If I drag/drop an icon to my TW in Chrome v32, I get a tiddler named according the icon and showing the icon. Opening the tiddler shows the type is 'image/x-icon'. If I do the same with Firefox v26, I get a tiddler named according the icon but *NOT* showing the icon. It just shows weird characters. Opening the tiddler shows the type is 'application/file'. Changing the type to 'image/x-icon' does not help: no icon shown. In Firefox v27 (just updated) only the outline of an image is shown after changing the type to 'image/x-icon'. NB Dragging/dropping of icons in Opera v18 and Internet Explorer v11 does work, although in both cases the favicon is not shown in the browser tab (IE already reported). Is this a bug in Firefox or in TW5? Cheers, Ton -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
