I've not tested saving to a server under TiddlyDesktop, but I'd have
expected it to work.

Have you set your password again once you've opened the document in
TiddlyDesktop?

Also, can you open dev tools with F12 and check for any error messages? You
should check both the console for the main window as well as the console
for the window with the open TW document.
