Today I sat down to learn all about how to do transclusion and filtering. It's quite a bit harder than expected. This post is mostly just about Filtering plugins.

Yakov Litvin's ExtraFiltersPlugin <http://yakovl.bplaced.net/TW/ExtraFilters.html#ExtraFiltersPluginInfo> EmbedTiddlers <http://www.tiddlytools.com/#EmbedTiddlers> + MatchTagsPlugin<http://www.tiddlytools.com/#MatchTagsPlugin> ForEachTiddler, <http://tiddlywiki.abego-software.de/#ForEachTiddlerPlugin>(I know that this doesn't have full compatibility with tiddlyspace, but I plan on using my tiddlywiki mostly offline anyway so that shouldn't be a problem) I can't tell which would be the best for me. I don't know which plugins and their macros are redundant, incompatible, or synergistic, with one another, or deprecated by other updates or plugins, or just plain better or worse than others. Or even the difference between some of them. I'm having a really hard time sifting through all the documentation and successfully comparing them. If someone who has a bit more experience could help explain the differences between these plugins, I would be overwhelmingly grateful.
