I'm unable to duplicate this problem, which is frustrating. I've tried:

* TiddlyDesktop 0.0.3 on OS X Mavericks
* Firefox 27 on Windows 8
* Firefox 27 on OS X Mavericks

My test procedure is:

# visit tiddlywiki.com
# create a new tiddler with the following content:
<$button message="tw-download-file"
param="$:/core/templates/static.template.html"
class="btn-big-green">Save snapshot {{$:/core/images/save-button}}</$button>
# Click  done
# Click the resulting download button

It works fine for me on all platforms.

Could you be running antivirus software that's interfering with the
download?

Best wishes

Jeremy
