Everything is possible but is it worth the effort. It's not a "one liner". You'd need to write a "hover" handler, that replaces the "click" handler and add a configuration possibility. If Tobias thinks, this would be a feature for his plugin, he may add it. ... A configuration will be needed to enable/disable the hover behaviour and get the click back.
