TWC or TW5? AFAIK, TW doesn't have a real database. So it's bound to flatline. At 1megs, I notice a delay when saving, though searches are still fast.
Maybe ... * Get rid of embedded image data & replace with links to files. * Turn off search-while-you-type * Turn off save-when-closing-tiddler (but you'll have to remember to save!) * Try different browsers -- different browsers process JS faster/slower * Break your data into categories and have a different TW for each major category * Buy a faster computer Mark You don't happen to have a lot of embedded image data do you?
