Hi Alex
The problem is likely to be that the CodeMirror editor plugin is enabled by
default for Node.js editions, and it doesn't support Chrome's spell
checking.
You can disable the CodeMirror plugin by editing the tiddlywiki.info file
in your wiki folder to remove the reference to CodeMirror. You should end
up with something like this:

"tiddlywiki/filesystem",
"tiddlywiki/highlight"
],

"tiddlywiki/vanilla",
"tiddlywiki/snowwhite"
