I have an older "classic" TiddlyWiki where I have been maintaining some data for past several years, when I first started I created some custom tiddler fields.
After some delay I am getting different errors trying to use the wiki in most modern browsers (Win 7, FF 28.0, IE 11, Chrome 34). Basically I can read the file, but saving updates, or trying to use the core upgrade feature are now failing. I am getting messages that the file has been saved incorrectly. I don't want to lose all my data. Is there an upgrade path I can take that 1) Preserves my tiddlers with custom field values 2) Preserve my ViewTemplate and 3) Preserve my tag data? I have tried the online upgrade, but it didn't preserve the fields. Do I want to upgrade to try to resolve the browser errors? Is it best to try to get to TW5 in anticipation that I don't want to be left even further behind and unable to upgrade data? Are there ways to export the data from a wiki in another format, like a CSV type file for backup purposes?
