It is pretty easy.

I installed the WordCountMacro <http://wordcountmacro.tiddlyspot.com> to
count the number of words I write. Then I then changed [[ViewTemplate]] by
adding the line
{{{
<div class='subtitle'><span macro='view modifier link'></span>, <span
macro='view modified date'></span> (<span macro='message
views.wikified.createdPrompt'></span> <span macro='view created
date'></span>), <span macro="wordCount"></span> words</div>
}}}
to ensure it shows a word count in each post (then it shows the word count
in the upper part of the post, see attached image.
