That did the trick! Thank you kindly. I had to use both fixes for things to
work.
I have never encountered a situation where the surrounding "" around a
{{!!field}} made a difference so I didn't know there was one. Thanks for
the tip.
Also, I am a little confused about what $(outside)$ is doing. I am guessing
that it is providing the little bit more of indirection to force the
evaluation of {{!!title}} out into the <$set> context. I would have never
have guessed that syntax but I guess I will have to go back to the $(tags)$
example in the Skeleton tiddler of your newTiddler plugin and understand
what it is doing there rather than parroting it :]
Thanks again. I'll definitely post the (semi) final work somewhere soon as
it uses (misuses?) your ContactsDB example, newTiddler and listselect
plugin quite extensively so it will provide another example for those
climbing the learning curve like me.
