1. Use \define not /define ;)
2. Set a variable to {{!!myotherfield}}
\define getList() <$list filter="[tag[$(tag)$]]"/>
<$set name="tag" value={{!!myotherfield}}>
<$button set="!!myfield" setTo=<<getList>> />
</$set>
