Hi Jonathan Strange admittedly! I have just tried your wiki in Chrome to see if I experienced any difference. It is much slower, and stopping several times in reading it. Opening a tiddler takes ages. A couple of times trying to see if I could edit it, it just closed on me. Usually I find Firefox the slow one in comparison but not this time.
I sure hope someone is able to help you. You have done a very large job on this Wiki. Very interesting.
