So, are you going to create a new TW Classic or TW5? Where did you get the empty TW from?
You mentioned that you have downloaded TiddlyFox, so what's the version of FireFox? What OS? Sorry for a stupid question, but have you installed TiddlyFox? What happens when you open your emtpy TW? I'm asking merely because TWc+FF+TF should work nicely and works for me (although I haven't updated my TWs to the most recent version); if brand new TW doesn't work with FF+TF, then we should reproduce the issue and fix it.
