Hi Simon, There is no "general" update / import mechanism at the moment.
The TiddlyWiki roadmap <http://tiddlywiki.com/#RoadMap:RoadMap>tiddler shows the following todo's. Features required for large scale adoption > > - Improve upgrade process > - Establish plugin library > > Both of these points need an easy to use user interface. So I'm sure it's on Jeremy's radar. He also pointed out several times, that he wants to create an "offline" plugin import mechanism. It should be possible to download an eg: zip file that contains plugins, themes ...
