I tried to include <$count/> in my script, see below.
<$list filter="[tag[archives]sort[title]]">
<$link to={{!!title}}><$view field="title"/></$link> (<$count/>)<br>
</$list>
But my output looks like this:
category 1 (undefined)
category 2 (undefined)
category 2 (undefined)
