I don't know the Kindle Fire but can give some general advice.

Go to the Theme Tweaks (Cog wheel > Appearance > Theme Tweaks).
There you can adjust e.g. the position of the Sidebar and the tiddler 
width. Play with the values over there:
Try to decrease the Tiddler width (e.g. 686 => 486px) and the Story right 
(770 => 570px) with the same amount.
You can also try to shift the tiddler area to the right (Story left 
position 0 => 470px) and push the Sidebar to the left (Story right 770 => 
20px).
