Right now, I'm afraid there is no sufficiently surgical way to disable the pasting behaviour. You could edit $:/core/ui/PageTemplate to remove the dropzone widget, but you'd also lose the ability to import any content. Can you not disable the pasting behaviour within Ubuntu?
