What if it would be possible to use any file extension and make it a proper tiddler. eg: test.js can have a test.js.meta file, that contains the mata data. So there is no need to introduce special characters, that are wrong for other usecases anyway. (see Stephans post)
So if you create a file test.cpp + test.cpp.meta it works, if you compile a file TW.
