Stephan, when I tried copying and pasting an excerpt from the link you
suggested into a tiddler:

the text of the class element is displayed and therefore isn't being
applied. Does this need to be surrounded by something for it to work?
What I'm really after is something like Danielo's footnotes to work on
hover.
