I'm very sorry to hear of this. I hate hearing these stories of data loss. In this particular case it looks like the file has indeed become corrupted halfway through for reasons that are unclear. Do you happen to remember what text characters originally immediately followed the final string "A founder member of NIS Global"? > @Jeremy: Feature request.
