Danielo, I use your key routine all the time and have made it part of my set of standard tiddlywiki modifications. Among the functions I would like to see added to tiddlywiki is the search and replace like Eric had with the quick edit functions. I might not have bothered with CodeMirror at all if it didn't have that.
If I could get your keysnippets to work with codemirror or get codemirror to do the before-after insert I think I would have what I want. But it looks like the group, especially Pmario, have gone down this trail before. It may not be worth the effort.
