Thanks for the information, the elegant solution, and your quick response, 
Jeremy! That process works wonderfully; I assume I can sprinkle some CSS 
syntactic sugar in that new tiddler to make the tagging information a 
little more visually distinct from the normal tiddler text.

Am I missing some sources of documentation on TW5? I've rooted around on 
the main website but I never would have been able to come up with this 
solution without source-diving.

(I guess I was wondering about the tiddler-tag relationship in TW5 because 
of the lack of partial-matching to existing tiddlers when working in the 
tag UI.)
