I tried this...
<$list filter="[list{List of datasets!!text}]">
</$list>
but if I had --really-- read the list filter article (at
http://tiddlywiki.com/#FilterOperator%3A%20list)
<$list filter="[list[List of datasets!!text]]">
</$list>
I would have been more successful .
