Let me know some context: In which TW version are you using it? Please note that the default configuration is to do nothing unless the search string is at least 4 characters long. How did you install the plugin? It is not displaying anything or it is just not highlighting ? Did you "rebooted" your TW after installing?
Try to copy the example tiddler from braintest and see if it works there. Regards.
