Not sure I understand the question, sorry. I am using the latest version of TW5. When I use the "New Journal" or "New Journal Here" buttons in the empty TW5 with the plugin imported I get a new tiddler that shows up with a link on the calendar when it is created. In my TW with the different date format, the link in the new calendar does not show up.
As for what I am "...passing into the macro..." I have no clue!
