After years of using TWC, I've been playing with TW5 for a couple weeks. Are the following statements about TW5 correct?
1. Save or Autosave overwrites the previously version TW version. 2. No way in TW to undo a tiddler delete, same as in TWC. 3 So if I accidentally delete a tiddler, then save or autosave the TW, that tiddler is unrecoverable, UNLESS: 3.A The TW resides in a folder synced to cloud storage, where any file save triggers an upload AND the cloud services keeps each distinct version, AND the cloud service local client will still save triggering version, not just the one existing at the time it starts the upload. (Can you tell I don't use auto-uploading cloud storage ;-) OR 3.B Run a folder synchronizer (Linux: built in, Win: 3rd party, Mac: ?) where any file save triggers a copy resulting in each distinct version saved to another location. Or 3.C Manually use the browser's 'Save As' as often as needed, giving each version a new name. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
