The link you should be dragging to import the KaTeX plugin is the blue link to "$:/plugins/tiddlywiki/katex" under the heading "Introduction" on the following page: http://tiddlywiki.com/plugins/tiddlywiki/katex/ Were you by any chance dragging and dropping the link to the page rather than the link to the plugin that is found on that page?
