I think what Captain Packers is asking is simply if it is possible to the sidebar on the left side instead.
The only answers I can give are an unhelpful "yes, that should be possible" and that maybe you can find help in Ton Gerners guide tw5topleft <http://tw5topleft.tiddlyspot.com/>.
