Hi Steve The search results in the sidebar and in advanced search are currently truncated at 250 for performance.
Why do you need more than 250 search results in the sidebar? If you want to perform a search without truncation then you can use the "filter" tab of advanced search and a filter string like "[search[the]sort[title]]". Best wishes Jeremy.
