Hello all, first post here...

I'm getting started on TW5, loving it, and I'm trying to adapt my workflow
and TW5 to each other.

I typically create a daily dump of notes as pure text in MarkDown format,
and would like to have a setup where I could simply import this in TW5 as a
raw journal entry, and then process that entry by splitting it in
actionable/meaningful tiddlers with some sort of automatic tagging based on
hashtags from the original dump.

...now before I get to all that, I've been playing with simply importing
the dailydump.md in TW5 and it's as simple as a drag-and-drop so that's
great, and I've installed the Markdown plugin and my dump is magically
recognized as markdown content and that's great too.

So my question is, before I dive in the docs and try to wrap my head around
macros and plugins, is there a 'simple' way, running in a browser, to
select a part of a tiddler (my daily dump) and create another tiddler
containing just the selection ? I guess that is very similar to what a
browser addon such as TiddlySnip would do (sadly not working for TW5), but
is there a way to perhaps create a new button that would have that effect
-- taking the selection and creating a new tiddler with it ?

Alternatively, is there a way to easily split a tiddler in other tiddlers ?
I've seen one such thing on TiddlyTools (SplitTiddler) but I have no clue
if it works on TW5 or only TWClassic, and the interface confuses the hell
out of me...

Sorry for the newbie questions but I'm eager to learn :)

best regards,
-laurent
