I found where the problem is, but I don't understand the problem at all. It is the $:/_stylesheet/mobile/menu.css There are some differences, but I don't understand why they make the hidden to not be applied. If I copy the original tiddler to the "copy" version it works as expected, even when the "copy" has a different structure.
