I understand what you're saying and I agree. However, my primary focus with this is to lower the "barrier to entry" for the new-comers to TiddlyWiki. What I was doing here here was to think of a way to reduce the amount of "fog" that makes it more difficult for a new user to create that first wiki. If it costs us almost nothing and makes it easier for novice users, then why not do it?
