Thanks Greg for your response because it got me thinking. Why not eat my own dog food for this idea.
What I am trying to do is define the twCard using a Tiddler. Then Put Content in Tiddlers that use that special twCard definition to allow it to display content a specific way. Think of an ID Badge for a Company as an example. The twCard would define the data - possibly the look and feel as well Then for each person a single Tiddler would have the data for them and reference the [[twCard-ID Badge]] to take the simple data and use it in a more complex way. Here is the page I created for twCards(A format for different people(the thing I call a <Name Plate>), places, or things) <http://www.richshumaker.com/tw5/TiddlyWiki-Hangouts.html#twCard>. For my specific use I need a [[hangout twCard]] and I need a [[<Name Plate> twCard]] So I create the format for what I use. If you like my format you take it and use it or you can take it and update it. So over time anyone can change or update the twCard but they all are twCards. This allows University A to have a different twCard then Elementary School B or Corporation C. So you set the 'field name' to 'twCard' and use a 'field value' for the type of twCard. Types of different cards - 'Field Value' <Name Plate> Event - Single Day or Multi-Day - Intermittent or Meeting Style Objects - Books - CD's - DVD's So now is the question for people that have done more 'Macro' type stuff. Does it make sense to use "Field Name" and then put a "Field Value" in? Meaning "Field Name" always =twCard And then put a "Field Value" that changes on the need? Or is there a better way to execute this same idea? I haven't done it so I am still formulating a way to do it. Thanks again everyone for your help.
