Dear all,

Please help me to specify a task for TW expert Eric. I have the previlige
of having him sweat 4 hours on one of my crazy ideas and I hope to make the
most out. My idea is to make a thing for the community that I illustrate
here:

So, the overall idea is to have some way to include tiddlers from other
public tiddlywikis. Yes - four hours - so, I hope to have him start off a
project that, if not finished, can be picked up by others.

I need your help to specify this for Eric. This means to identify the major
hurdles and pros and cons with different solutions, prioritize to make best
use of his skill, and generally limit the project to the key parts.

I hope for a tiddler to be used as a kind of display window from which you
can easily pick what you want to include into your TW. Like an appstore if
used for showing plugins or themes. Or a bookshelf if booktitles. Or as a
project collaboration folder showing stuff from other peoples contributions
to a project. What is seen in your tiddler is "only seen", i.e it is not
affecting your tw - but it should be very easy to include if you want to.
Changes in the external tiddlers are reflected in your tiddler - ideally
right away or possibly on reload of your tiddler (or TW?)

In the illustration you see an "aggregation appstore" (C1) linking to other
themes - and you appearently wanted the second and third things to show in
your goodiebag tiddler (A).

As noted at (B) you can apply your own formatting and stuff (CSS, icons?)
onto things as they are displayed in your eclectic tiddler.

Other than step (B) I'm guessing that it is the same "mechanism" repeated
at each step to display it onwards. The "mechanism" for it should ideally
be as closely integrated in TW as possible and not some separate program.
Also, the content providers (C, D) should not have to manipulate their TWs
to enable it.

I could have Eric help me with my personal TW problems (and I've got
plenty) but I think something like this would be of tremenduous use for us
all and mean more in the longer run.

So fellow tiddlywikians - please help specify this for Eric!
