I figured out the mistake I made. I made all my images "_canonical_uri:" links. Then I read the code and I link to the image names that then link to the "_canonical_uri:" So I was putting the code in the WRONG folder to get them to link correctly. Once I moved the HTML file to the correct location the "_canonical_uri:" linked correctly and everything worked correctly. d'oh!!!
