I decided to make a new thread because it is quite different from what I had started with, but here is the current version of the icon menus I have been playing with and talked about here https://groups.google.com/forum/?nomobile=true#!topic/tiddlywiki/UO9y7LWy0Lc
I removed the normal menu and added options to have small icon menus on the left, right, top left, top right and/or top center. I also have some simple css that lets them only appear on mouseover if desired, either by changing the opacity or by moving the menu partly off screen. There are configuration options in the control panel, and many parts still have the horrible colors I used while testing. All of that can be changed in the new tab in the control panel. The demo (hopefully) is set so that the menu on the right pops out when hovered over, and the menu on the left becomes visible when hovered over. All the menus can be toggled on or off, and making new behavior using css is pretty easy so if anyone has wonderful suggestions for menu behavior I may add it (or someone else could make wonderful things too!). Here is the current version of the demo: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0pi4959vnbjlcia/LeftAndRightIcons.htm?dl=0 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
